Underwriting agency Dual New Zealand has announced today that Craig Anderson is to resign as the branch’s managing director following a recent illness.
Anderson’s departure is effective immediately.

The company issued their statement outlining the latest development which comes following Anderson’s hospitalisation in December.

“Since first alerted to the situation in New Zealand, Dual has been taking steps to ensure the ongoing running of its New Zealand business,” the statement said.

“The operation of Dual’s New Zealand business continues to fall under the responsibility of Asia Pacific CEO Damien Coates, who founded Dual’s business in the region 10 years ago.

Martin Stroud continues to operate as chief operating officer holding an interest in Dual New Zealand.”

Coates told Insurance Business that the company would be making further announcements on the future structure and growth plans for Dual New Zealand later this week.
